Philip J.
Jackson, dba Jackson & Jackson, is self-employed
full time as an independent fee appraiser, and is a native
of Wheeling, where he has been appraising property since 1990.
He holds BA and MS degrees from Washington & Jefferson
College and West Virginia University and is affiliated with
the Appraisal Institute (AI), the Foundation of Real Estate
Appraisers (FREA) and the Wheeling Board of Realtors.
He is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser licensed
in West Virginia and Ohio which means he is licensed by these
states to appraise any and all types of property. Phil has
seventeen years of experience in appraising real estate, and
has ten years experience in condemnation appraisal for right-of-way
acquisition.
He is an approved appraiser with all local lenders and specializes
in appraisals of small to medium sized commercial real estate,
apartments, high-end residences and vacant land including
farms and development property. Phil primarily concentrates
on the Wheeling/Ohio County market where he maintains an up-to-date
database of sales activity. However, he has also performed
assignments in Brooke and Marshall Counties in West Virginia
and Belmont County in Ohio. He is also available for consulting
assignments and rent studies.
